4 UP Cebu Faculty Members to Present Researches in Social Science, Business Management, and Arts

Four faculty members of the University of the Philippines Cebu will present the outputs of their researches on 20 January 2016.

Presenters and their topics are Atty. Francis Michael Abad on The Crowning of Thorns: of princes, lions, and foxes: An analysis on the diminution of the efficacy of Machiavellianism in the Philippines, Dr. Tiffany Adelaine Tan on Influence of Demographic Variables on Customers’ Behavior in Cases of Service Failures and A study on the buying behavior of sari sari store owners in Metropolitan Cebu, Dr. Leahlizbeth Sia on The Influence of Organizational Justice on Job Satisfaction In A Hotel Setting, and Mr. Gregg Lloren on Socio-Cultural Appropriation of Sex-Sell Billboard Ads: A Multimodal Study on the Grammar of Sexually Implicit Advertising Text and Images.

The research presentation will be the first activity to be hosted by the Central Visayas Studies Center, the research office of the university, for 2016. It will be held in the UP Cebu AVR 2, Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City.
