INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The University of the Philippines Cebu, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Expansion of the Mini Gallery to Professional Level and Fabrication and Installation of New Display Panels

Location : UP Cebu Campus, Lahug, Cebu

Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) : PhP 901,000,000.00

Contract Duration : 30 calendar days

Prospective bidders with the required PCAB license should have experience in undertaking a similar projects within the last 5 (five) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the latest pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

Bid Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (PhP 1,000.00) only at the UP Cebu Cashier. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and from the UP Cebu website, provided that bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of bids.

UP Cebu assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
