ADDENDUM NO. 2014-002

This Addendum No. 2014-002 is issued to modify or amend items re public bidding for the Supply and Delivery of 20 Units IMAC Computers for the Modernization of UP Cebu DCS Computer Laboratory. This shall form an integral part of the Bidding Documents. The Revised Technical Specifications are as follows:

– 21.5 inch
– 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
– 8Gb of 1600MHz DDR3 Memory, supports up to 16GB
– 1TB 5400-rpm hard drive
– Intel Iris Pro graphics
– Graphics processors with 1 GB of GDDR5 Memory
– 1 year warranty
– keyboard and mouse (wired)
– delivery, installation and set-up included
– delivery period is 20 calendar days upon receipt of the Purchase Order

INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID: 20 Units iMac Computers

The University of the Philippines Cebu, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers / manufacturers / distributors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project: Supply and Delivery of 20 Units IMAC Computers for the Modernization of UP Cebu DCS Computer Laboratory.
Location: UP Cebu Campus.
Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): PhP 1,400,000.00.
Contract Duration: One (1) year.
Delivery Period: 7 calendar days after issuance and receipt of the Purchase Order

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 3 (three) years  with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria.  Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the latest pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

6. Notice of Award March 27, 2014

 

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount to the UP Cebu Cashier in the amount  of Five Thousand  Five  Hundred  Pesos  (PhP 5,500.00).

UP Cebu assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

ADDENDUM NO. 2014-001

This Addendum No. 2014-001 is issued to modify or amend items re public bidding for the Supply and Delivery of 20 Units IMAC Computers for the Modernization of UP Cebu DCS Computer Laboratory. This shall form an integral part of the Bidding Documents. The following are changes in the time and place of Pre-Bid Conference and Bid Opening. To wit:

  1. Pre-Bid Conference shall be on March 12, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the UP Cebu BMC Lounge, Management Building, Lahug, Cebu City.
  2. Opening of Bids shall be on March 24, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the UP Cebu ILC-AVR at the 2nd Floor of the Main Building.
