UPCAT passers to get feel of UP life during Open House (March 14)

University of the Philippines Cebu Lahug Campus in Gorordo Avenue will have an Open House on Friday, March 14, 2014, to welcome its qualifiers for admission to the University of the Philippines Cebu. Third year high school students planning to take the UPCAT later in the year, other interested schools and their students are invited as well. Parents are welcome to tag along too.

The Open House is an opportune way to gather information about the programs available to students at UP Cebu. Students may come in at any time between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. While at Open House, visitors are invited to:

  • attend the Opening Ceremony at the Oblation Square at 9:00 am;
  • meet with the faculty, staff and students who make up the dynamic UP Cebu community;
  • take a guided tour of the campus at 9:30 am or 2:00 pm;
  • visit the cluster office with the course offering of their choice to ask information about their majors;
  • inquire about our Socialized Tuition System and scholarship opportunities;
  • sit in some select classes; and
  • interact with UP Cebu students about the activities and organizations in the school, on how it is to belong in this campus and be an Iskolar ng Bayan.
