CENVI to present their researches in PhilGEOSxGeoAdvances 2019 on mango tree status, vegetation cover, ecological forest corridor, and catchment-scale mapping of a water resource using remote sensing, GIS, and computer modeling. The conference was from November 14-15, 2019 at the National Museum of Fine Arts, City of Manila.
At the same time, congratulations to Eli Edrian Tan, FireCheck Science Research Specialist II, for bagging the Best Oral Presentation award for his paper entitled “Fire Spread Prediction using Probabilistic Cellular Automata: The Case of Urban Settlements in the Philippines.”
