UP Cebu participated in the synchronized flag raising ceremony held last June 10, to formally open the Linggo ng Unibersidad. This event marked the beginning of a series of activities from June 10-20, 2024, celebrating the 116th Founding Anniversary of the University of the Philippines with the theme, “Hayag: Pagpupugay sa mga Lingkod Bayan 2024.
Led by Chancellor Atty. Leo B. Malagar, UP Cebu joined other constituent universities and autonomous college in honoring the contributions of academic and non-academic personnel, students, and alumni.
The Linggo ng Unibersidad aims to advance the core values of the University, “Karangalan at Kahusayan sa Paglilingkod para sa Bayan.”
