The University of the Philippines Cebu announces its hosting of the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) 2024 Chess Tournament, scheduled to take place from May 5 to May 9, 2024.
The designated venues for this tournament are as follows:
- Performing Arts Hall and Lobby (Playing Venue)
- AVR 1 and Lobby (Playing Venue)
- Lawak Sinehan (Viewing Room for Regional Directors, Heads, & other dignitaries)
- AS Hall (Viewing Room for the General Public including parents & coaches)
To ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the competition, the playing areas, encompassing the whole second floor of the library building, will be off-limits to non-players.
There will be no disruption of classes during the specified dates.
The chess tournament will be live-streamed on the official Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association – CVIRAA Facebook page.
