UP Cebu conducted its teambuilding activity with the theme “Pista sa Nayon” at JVR Island in the Sky resort last 27 July 2019. The teambuilding activity aimed to boost the morale and motivate the administrative staff, REPs and agency personnel deployed in UP Cebu. It further aimed to develop a better connection and communication among them.
The participants for the teambuilding activity were the administrative staff, REPs, job order, contract of service personnel, and personnel from outside agency who were deployed in UP Cebu. The team had to travel all the way to Cebu Transcentral Highway where JVR Island in the Sky is located.
For the first part of the activity, exciting pinoy games that tested the group’s coordination and teamwork were facilitated by the Human Resource Development Office staff. The team had Maria Went to Town, Palayok game, Puzzle Hunt,
Kadang-Kadang, and Agawan Base. The teams were competitive enough and could not accept defeat but only one team emerged as the winner after earning points for the different games. The second part of the activity was full of fun and revealing trivia games that required the employees to remember UP Cebu’s history. After the games, the employees had the chance to enjoy the cool breeze and scenery. The group had fun taking pictures afterwards.
