RELATED: UP Cebu FabLab creates face shields for frontliners
FabLab UP Cebu is receiving so many requests for face shields that it is producing. We are producing these for free to the medical frontliners of Cebu. Design work for other types of personal protective equipment (PPE) is also in the pipeline.
“Together with other Fablabs in the Visayas, Fablab UP Cebu has been mobilized to prototype, develop and produce Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to our brave Filipino medical frontliners working through the COVID-19 pandemic. We started this week with production on lasercut face shields and need the Cebuano community’s support through various way!” (FabLab UP Cebu Facebook)
If you wish to donate materials for the production of more of these PPE, you may contact us at pptudtud@up.edu.ph. Do take note that we are strictly following the physical distancing guidelines and community quarantine rules laid down by the government.
