The UP Cebu Political Science Program is now accepting applications for admission to the Master in Public Affairs (MPAf) program for the First Semester of A.Y. 2024 – 2025. Applications will be accepted from 8 May 2024 until 7 June 2024. MPAf classes will follow a hybrid learning mode (face-to-face/HyFlex with online synchronous and asynchronous sessions).
The Master in Public Affairs (MPAf) program is a one year graduate program designed for practitioners and academics in government and non-government institutions, as well as scholars dedicated to the analysis of public issues, particularly as they relate to the improvement of public welfare.
Graduate students need to take 31 units in order to graduate from their chosen specialization. Core courses include the Political Economy of Public Affairs, Data Analysis and Modeling for Public Affairs, Ethics in Public Affairs, and Public Affairs Management in Development. Graduate students may choose from any of the following specialization streams: Agrarian and Rurban Development Studies, Education Management, and Strategic Planning and Public Policy.
To apply for admission, interested applicants need to accomplish the application form and submit the required documents to the UP Cebu College of Social Sciences Office of the College Secretary (Room No. 135, Ground Floor, Right Wing, AS Building, UP Cebu, Lahug, Cebu City) on or before 7 June 2024.
