As part of the FireCheck Project team’s efforts to improve our understanding of fire behavior, fire response, and fire risk assessment, along with the Central Visayas Center for Environmental Informatics – CENVI team, a seminar was conducted at UP Cebu Arts and Sciences Building RM 206.
The seminar harnessed the knowledge and expertise that exist across the Bureau of Fire Protection 7 – Cebu City. Resource speakers from the said office discussed and elaborated on the elements of fire, its behavior and spread, and fire response, among others.
The said seminar was also attended by graduating Computer Science students of UP Cebu as they are to collaborate with the FireCheck project for their undergraduate thesis.
